Kat Jones
After a year marked by throat surgery, a melanoma diagnosis, and a profound creative rebirth, Kat Jones emerges with her most arresting work to date. Her live performances are immersive, intimate voyages—equal parts cinematic intensity and fragile, emotional honesty—that transform any room into a listening sanctuary. In 2026, Jones will be touring extensively in support of her new album The Thrilling, out September 2026, alongside a series of singles and a growing body of visual and interactive performance art pieces that expand the world of the record. It will be her most ambitious and multidisciplinary year yet, inviting audiences deeper into an experience that blurs the line between concert and ritual.
BIO
Kat Jones is a genre-defying vocalist, composer, and performance artist whose work lives at the intersection of raw emotional storytelling and immersive sonic architecture. Blending the spectral edges of Eastern European folk, chamber pop, and experimental rock, her music builds worlds—lush, cinematic spaces where fragility and ferocity coexist in equal measure.
With a voice that moves effortlessly from intimate whisper to operatic intensity, Kat crafts songs that feel both ancient and futuristic, woven with haunting melodies and deeply human narratives. Her performances are known for their arresting vulnerability and theatrical precision, drawing audiences into a visceral shared experience rather than simply a show.
A multidisciplinary creator, Kat’s artistic practice extends beyond music into installation work that explores trauma, healing, and the reclamation of personal mythology. Her visual art and performance environments invite participants to slow down, witness themselves, and engage in collective introspection.
Whether onstage or within her immersive installations, Kat’s work is an exploration of resilience—an invitation to inhabit complexity, beauty, and transformation without apology. She continues to carve out a singular space in the landscape of avant-folk and experimental art, offering audiences an experience that is as cathartic as it is unforgettable.

PRESS
“…Jones creates an honest discourse around her own trauma, reaching out to connect with others who are hurting. “People are feeling more empathetic right now, and maybe more willing to take other people’s pain more seriously,” Jones says. “So I feel like it's a good time to educate people about different kinds of trauma that the world is going through, so that we can all identify with it together and move through it together in a more informed way.”
We Are Warm, Young, Blood functions as a declaration of Jones’ victory over her circumstances. After the flood destroyed her home in Nashville, she temporarily relocated to Portland, Ore., where she withstood a lot of upheaval in a short period of time, including a tornado and a period of being without a home. …” EXERPT, P.J.
